Mula sa pagiging isang registered nurse to being a certified actor, isang reservist na rin sa Philippine Navy si Kapuso actor Rocco Nacino.

Ayon sa aktor, isang dream come true para sa kanya ang maging parte ng Navy at gagamitin raw niya ang kanyang kaalaman para makapaglingkod sa bayan at sa mga mamamayan.

"Childhood dream ko rin ito aside from being a doctor.

"'Di naman kailangan full-time soldier, but as a volunteer dahil gusto kong magamit ang knowledge ko and skills as a nurse na makatulong sa mga medical mission and in times of calamity I can be of help sa ating mga countrymen," aniya kay 24 Oras reporter Nelson Canlas.

Yup it's happening. Sa paggawa ng trainings namin para sa Descendants of the Sun, nabuksan ng Armed Forces of the Philippines ang mga mata ko para makacontribute sa ating bansa thru being a reservist for the Philippine Navy. This is an exciting year for me! I believe na magagamit ko ang skills ko as a nurse for medical missions, physical skills in times of calamity, and my influence to inspire and motivate the youth. Dagdag pa nito, malaking bagay raw ang naging training niya kasama ang ilang cast ng Philippine adaptation ng K-Drama series na Descendants of the Sun para mabuo ang kanyang desisyon para mag-enlist sa Navy.

"Gusto ko rin maging vessel of influence sa mga kabataan natin na it's okay to be a reservist at magpa-enlist sa army.

"And we can help in different ways as civilians."
