"Every Sunday, I look forward to SOP." And no, Chris Cayzer is not sucking up. Talking to this young man, makikita mo talaga na he sincerely enjoys what he's doing sa show. Especially now that he has a segment na talagang sa kanya. "Every time I get my study CD or whatever, I really put my heart and soul into learning the songs because music is really my passion." It does seem na perfect fit si Chris sa show pero how did he go about getting his own segment sa isang star-studded show? For those who don't know, recurring guest artist si Chris sa SOP through the acoustic sessions from last year. When the New Year came about, the show decided to offer something new to the viewers, and that's how “Bro Band” came about. And Chris is really thankful for its inclusion. "They gave me a big chance, especially Kuya Perry [Lansingan, the executive producer]." Sabi ni Chris, nagkaroon daw ng call for auditions para sa magiging kasama sa “Bro Band.” “I did [audition] And praise God they let me in. I feel very honored to perform with big [celebrities] every Sunday." With “Bro Band,” Chris is performing with Dennis Trillo, Aljur Abrenica and a different band every week. "They're really good with rock, you know? And [the segment] suits all of us. It's pretty cool that we've rocked." But why the name “Bro Band”? Chris says it just came about na the three of them use the expression 'Bro'. "Every time we call each other, we don't say dude, we don't say pare -- we just go, 'Hey, Bro!'. It's really simple." Dagdag ni Chris, they're really having fun with the concept of the segment. He thinks it's more fun compared to their acoustic sessions dahil "with the band, there's more energy." And of course, iGMA had to ask kung ano pa ang gustong makita ni Chris sa 'Bro Band', and here's what Chris had to say: "[We're just] testing the waters, you know? There's always gonna be other opportunities but right now, we’re just gonna savor every little moment and enjoy each other's company and…just have fun performing in every way possible." And if you want more from Chris, visit iGMA regularly and of course, keep watching SOP every Sunday.
