Sunshine Dizon on her relationship to her estranged husband, “Basta maayos kami for our children.”
Wagas: Throwback Pag-ibig star Sunshine Dizon talked about her estranged husband, Timothy Tan.
During the show's press conference on August 29, Sunshine revealed that they are "ok" but not "friends."
"Basta kung anong makakabuti para sa mga anak namin, ok kami," she said.
"Nandun na kami sa punto na wala kaming masyadong pinagdidiskusyunan, basta maayos lang yung mga anak namin."
Press people then asked Sunshine if she considers her ex-husband "friends."
Sunshine answered, "I cannot say that we're friends e. I cannot say naman kasi very complicated pa yung situation."
"Pero basta maayos kami for our children. For now, ok na muna 'yun."
Sunshine also revealed that their children know what happened between them.
"Alam naman, wala akong tinatago sa mga anak ko," Sunshine said.
"Hindi ako yung old school thinking na, 'Ay, wag natin sabihin baka masaktan.' Hindi ako ganun, I'm very open minded about this.
"I'd rather they know para pag-tanda nila, wala ng tanong."
In Wagas: Throwback Pag-ibig, Sunshine portrays the role of July, who got together again with her estranged husband, Ryan, after years of separation for their unica hija, Smile.
StarStruck alumnus Mike Tan portrays the role of Ryan, while child actress Leanne Bautista plays Smile.
