Ako Kamo

A little scroll on Miss universe Japan Ako Kamo's Instagram page and you'll see a few bits and pieces of her stay in the archipelago.

Last August 22, the grand coronation night of Miss Universe Japan 2019 concluded with the crowning of Ako Kamo as the new queen.

The model and now beauty queen titleholder beat 39 other girls vying for the crown.

But did you know that prior to becoming a beauty queen she was actually studying in the Philippines?

The Hyogo Prefecture native was actually an exchange student at the Assumption College San Lorenzo in Makati City and studied media production and performing arts.
