Starting next month, mapapanood ulit si Richard Gomez sa prime time drama as part of the Pinoy adaptation ng Koreanovela na "All About Eve."
Sa ngayon, si Richard Gomez ay kilala bilang host ng isa sa ating favorite game shows na "Family Feud." But starting next month, mapapanood ulit siya sa prime time drama as part of the Pinoy adaptation ng Koreanovela na "All About Eve". Text by Erick Mataverde. Photos by Mitch S. Mauricio. Nang maabutan ng iGMA.tv si Richard Gomez sa recent story conference ng All About Eve, we coould not help but ask him about this transition. "At least nakita ng tao ang other side ni Richard, di ba? Ang nakikita lang nila kasi the serious side when I do my movies, when I do television. It’s very serious, very straightforward, unlike sa Family Feud, [which] has a very personal approach," he notes. In All About Eve, Richard plays a network executive who is unfaithful to his wife, but a loving father to Nicole (Iza Calzado).
How does he feel about this new project? "[It’s] exciting. I haven’t worked with most of the people here, except for Jean Garcia and the other cast. Most of them hindi ko pa naka-trabaho talaga. It’s going to be a total set of actors, a new director. Although I have not worked with Eula (Valdez), I’ve known her personally for the past 15 to 20 years. With Jean we’ve worked on a movie 15 years ago," Richard adds. As Richard has already proven himself in the dramatic genre, ano naman kaya ang magigigng approach niya dito sa local adaptation ng All About Eve? "Drama is really my forte. I can work on the emotions, I"ll focus on the look and then I"ll focus on the script as it comes in. At least now, alam ko na ‘yung costumes ko, the initial look, and [then] I"ll work on my character of the story," explains Richard.
