GMA Regional TV brings Alden Richards and his co-stars in The Gift closer to Kapuso in Cebu on Friday, (September 13).

A few days before the world premiere of GMA Network's inspirational drama The Gift, its lead actor, Asia's Multi-media Star Alden Richards, goes to Cebu this Friday (September 13) to treat his Cebuano fans to back-to-back shows courtesy of GMA Regional TV.

Alden headlines the Kapuso Mall Show at Gaisano Fiestamall Tabunok in Talisay City together with his The Gift co-stars Mikee Quintos, Thia Thomalla, Mikoy Morales, and Jo Berry. The cast of the upcoming GMA Telebabad series has definitely prepared an afternoon of fun and kilig which begins at 3 pm.

In the evening, the stars of the original primetime soap are off to Danao City for an unforgettable Kapuso Fiesta in Danao City Boardwalk. Also gracing the Kapuso Fiesta at 7 p.m. are The Boobay and Tekla Show's Boobay and Tekla.

Beginning September 16, a glimmer of hope will shine through in the midst of darkness with The Gift. In the series, Alden is the street-smart and high-spirited Sep, a visually-impaired vendor in Divisoria who will be blessed with the gift to perceive past and future events. To prepare for his character, Alden underwent an immersion with Resources for the Blind Inc., a non-government office that helps visually-impaired people.

The Gift centers on hope, transformation, and inspiration. Also starring in this series are Elizabeth Oropesa, Rochelle Pangilinan, and Jean Garcia. It is under the helm of LA Madridejos.

“Fresh from renewing his contract with the Kapuso Network, we are happy that Asia's Multi-media Star Alden Richards is joining us in Cebu this Friday for back-to-back shows in Danao City and Talisay City,” says GMA Regional TV Vice President and Head Oliver Amoroso. “GMA Regional TV has always been very supportive of Alden and we are proud that we are bringing him and his co-stars in The Gift closer to our Kapuso in the regions thru various malls shows and events.
