“I am not really fond of titles maybe because of self-doubt, insecurities, feelings of unworthiness and being undeserving but you know what I realized? it wasn't easy getting here,” she wrote on Instagram.

The 36-year-old actress even recalled all the hard work she did when after starring in the 1986 film “God's Little Children” at the age of three.

“It took me practically my whole life since I started acting at three years old. It takes a lot of hard work, patience, perseverance, passion, pushing our bodies and mind to our limits.

“This award will not be handed to you just like that, it will take years of experience some good some bad that we just push aside.

“A lot of sacrifices, time away from family and the hardest time away from your children.

So tonight I would like to sincerely and wholeheartedly thank PMPC for this recognition.

“Thank you for recognizing my body of work. Because I know in my heart I deserve this.”
