Sanya Lopez is the new Ginebra Calendar Girl. Congratulations, Sanya!
Kapuso actress Sanya Lopez was introduced as the Ginebra San Miguel's 2020 Calendar Girl at a media launch held at Novotel in Cubao, Quezon City on October 24.
Sanya expressed her gratitude but admitted to being nervous about being the brand's ambassador.
"It is an honor and a privilege to be chosen as Ginebra San Miguel's 2020 Calendar Girl," Sanya said.
"I feel excited and nervous at the same time."
According to Ginebra's marketing manager Ronald Molina, they chose Sanya as their brand ambassador because she embodies what the brand represents.
"[Sanya Lopez] embodies what Ginebra San Miguel represents -- courage, resiliency, optimism, and never-say-die spirit," he explained.
"Sanya is truly 'ganado sa buhay' as she worked her way up to become one of the most recognizable faces in the entertainment industry today."
With this career milestone, Sanya has joined the ranks of Kapuso celebrities Maureen Larrazabal, Iwa Moto, Marian Rivera, Krista Ranillo, Solenn Heussaff, and Kim Domingo, who were once the brand's calendar girl.
