Netizens couldn't help but feel excited for Descendants of the Sun (The Philippine Adaptation).

The much-awaited local adaptation of the South Korean hit series is teased in GMA's new omnibus plug, released on Monday, December 16, showing the titles of the TV programs set to be aired in 2020.

The plug opened with the scene showing the complicated relationship of Sgt. Diego, played by Rocco Nacino, and Lt. Moira, played Jasmine Curtis-Smith.

The Descendants of the Sun fans got even more amused when it showed Capt. Lucas, played by Dingdong Dantes, tying the shoe laces of Dr. Maxine, played by Jennylyn Mercado.

The heartwarming scene is said to be one of the highlights of the series.
