Missed the Golden Globes this year? Here's what you've missed.

The Golden Globe Awards 2020 finally wrapped up yesterday, January 6, which gave people a lot to talk about. Jokes were made, awards were handed, and jackets were taken off --literally.

Here's a round-up of the best of the best moments that happened at the Golden Globe Awards 2020:

Brad Pitt's Titanic joke

During his acceptance speech as Best Supporting Actor for the film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Brad thanked his co-star Leonardo Di Caprio.

He then referenced to that all-too-familiar scene from Titanic where Leo's character would have survived if only Rose, the character played by Kate Winslet, shared the floating wooden debris.

“I used to watch year after year his co-stars accept awards and get up and thank him profusely. I know why. He's an all-star, he's a gent and I wouldn't be here without you man, I thank you. Still, I would've shared the raft,” he quipped.

That pan to Jennifer Aniston

Similarly, Brad poked fun at all of the rumors he's constantly subjected to -- his dating life.

“I wanted to bring my mom but I couldn't because any woman I stand next to, they say I'm dating… It'd just be awkward,” he said.

Afterwards, the camera then panned to Jennifer Aniston and her reaction.

Jason Momoa's tank top moment

The Internet went wild when Aquaman star Jason Momoa is seen without his tux and only wearing a tank top, showing off his big ol' muscular arms at the Golden Globes.

Ricky Gervais's hilarious monologue

Marking his fifth and final appearance as host of the Golden Globes, British comedian Ricky Gervais said he “didn't care whom he offended.” So, he brought a bag of jokes and basically called out everybody.

Awkwafina made her mark at the Globes

Crazy Rich Asians star Awkwafina became the first woman of Asian descent to win Best Lead Actress in a Comedy/Musical for the film, The Farewell.

In her speech she thanked her director Lulu Wang and dedicated the award to her father by saying, “I told you I'd get a job, dad.”

Bong Joon-hu and his acceptance speech

The Korean film Parasite won the Best Motion Picture - Foreign Language award at the Golden Globes.

Upon receiving the award, South Korean director Bong Joon-ho gave an inspiring speech where he said, “Once you overcome the one-inch-tall barrier of subtitles, you will be introduced to so many more amazing films.”

Celebrities speaking out about the bushfire crisis in Australia

Celebrities like Jennifer Aniston told the crowd of celebrities about the devastating bushfires in Australia.

“Make no mistake,” Jennifer said on behalf of co-star Russell Crowe, “the tragedy unfolding in Australia is climate change-based.”
