
International celebrities are recently expressing their prayers and support to their fans who are affected by the Taal Volcano eruption.
Korean actor Kim Myung Soo thanked his fans who came for his first solo meet-and-greet on Instagram.
However, he also raised his concern towards those who were affected by the eruption, which happened on the same day.
He wrote, “I would like to thank all the fans who came to the fan meeting tonight. Due to the eruption of a volcano near Manila, I hope that no one will be affected by this natural calamity.”
Similarly, Super Junior member Siwon Choi expressed his concern for the Philippines through Twitter.
“My prayer goes out to the children and the elderly and infirm of the Philippines. I hope no one is seriously hurt from the volcanic eruptions and the earthquakes,” he tweeted.

On WeVerse, BigHit's fan community platform, a BTS fan posted a message asking for prayers for the Philippines.
BTS member Kim Taehyung, also known as V, replied to the post saying, “My heart aches for that nowadays. [I] hope nobody will be hurt and nature won't hurt people anymore, really.”

Meanwhile, Fil-Am stand-up comedian Jo Koy also asked for prayers for the Filipino people through his Instagram.
He said, “I am out here in the Philippines and I want everyone to send out their prayers for everyone affected by the volcano last night. Ash? Yes, everywhere!”
Furthermore, Jo Koy also informed his fans that his show in Cebu has been moved from January 14th to the 17th.
“The airport has been shut down, so I have to move my Cebu date from the 14th to the 17th.”

Lastly, American basketball player Donovan Mitchell also shared his concern through his Twitter platform.
“Damn this is wild! Praying for the Philippines and everyone affected,” he wrote while retweeting a video footage of the eruption of the Taal volcano.

As of this writing, the alert level 4 remains over Taal Volcano as the eruption continues in the main crater.
