Kapuso actress Rita Daniela grew so close with actor Roderick Paulate during the run of their top-rating show One of the Baes, to the point that the actor has become a father figure to her.

In an Instagram post, Rita described how she has learned a lot from the comedian actor.
She wrote, “Ang paps kooo! hay... never ever thought we'll be working together. and God proved again that He is so amazing. totoo po ang balita.. mahusay at mabait ka talaga.
"i love u, paps! sobra. u don't know how much u inspired all of us through your craft.”
“Mami-miss kita ng sobra, paps. I love u two times! To the sea and back.”
Rita played the role of Jowalyn in One of the Baes, the adoptive daughter of Roderick's character Paps.
