It has become a standard practice to check the body temperatures of people entering establishments with the use of either a thermal scanner or a temp gun. This measure is done to prevent suspected patients from entering a place and spreading the virus in the area.

In a funny video posted by Vicki, the celebrity doctor showed this practice and she also revealed who takes the temperature of the security guards.

“Dapat lang. Everyone should be checked. Thank you @officialtimyap for making me laugh,” she wrote.

In a press briefing done on the evening of March 12, President Rodrigo Duterte announced the implementation of a community quarantine beginning midnight of March 15 to mitigate the further spread of COVID-19.

People--students and workforce alike--are encouraged to stay at home and still fulfill their duties as restriction in land, sea, and air travels will be observed.
