In a recent episode of Eat Bulaga's “Bawal Judgmental” segment, Chuckie claimed he dated around 10 girls from showbiz, one of them, he revealed, was Jessa Zaragosa, and the other was Sunshine Cruz.

During the “Bawal Judgmental” segment aired last March 14, Chuckie revealed how he courted Sunshine back when they were co-stars in youth-oriented GMA show That's Entertainment.

"Matagal ko niligawan si Shine," he said.

When asked by the hosts how long they dated, Chuckie answered, "Give or take, six or seven months. 'Di ko na maalala pa."

Sunshine made a lengthy post on Facebook in response to Chuckie's statements.

She wrote: “In a time when our country is battling a very difficult crisis, nakisali ka pa sa gumagawa ng fake news that's not going to be of any help at all.”

Sunshine continued, “I was 14-15 years old when I joined That's Entertaiment. Batang-bata!

Sunshine firmly denied ever dating Chuckie, “There was no US!

“A real man will never say such lies on national tv! Kina macho mo naman ba yan?!”

She then stated that her former husband Cesar Montano was her first boyfriend.

“For the record, my ex-husband was and will always be my first bf. Diosmio!”

Sunshine and Chuckie were co-stars in That's Entertainment, which aired from 1986 until 1996.

Chuckie was a mainstay from 1986 until 1996; while Sunshine was on the show from 1992 until 1996.
