
Dingdong Dantes stays firm about his belief that everything happens for a reason, especially now that the world is facing a public health crisis due to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
In GMA's first-ever no-contact online show, the Kapuso Primetime King gave his two cents on what the pandemic is trying to impose.
Dingdong began, "Mayroon talagang purpose kung bakit nangyayari ang lahat ng ito.
"Hindi man natin maipaliwanag ngayon pero sooner or later, makikita natin ang tunay na dahilan.
"Pero sa ngayon, maraming itinuturo sa 'tin 'yung sitwasyon ngayon, 'yung crisis.
The Descendants of the Sun Ph actor added that it teaches us values that matter amid the anxiety and uncertainty that COVID-19 has brought.
He said, "For example, as individuals, it teaches us resiliency. As a family, it teaches us how to be sustainable. Siyempre, us, human-beings, it teaches us how to be compassionate to others."
Dingdong then urged the viewers to help those affected by the pandemic by donating to GMA's Kapuso Foundation.
He shared, "Meron tayong Kapuso Foundation drive ngayon and pwede nating ipakita 'yung pagmamalasakit natin sa mga kababayan nating apektado by donating."
He concluded, "So ingat tayo parati. Sana soon ay magita kita na tayo, 'di sa Zoom (group messaging app), kung 'di sa totoong buhay na."
