Due to the COVID-19 crisis, 'Wonder Woman 1984' will be moved to a later date this year.

Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot made an important announcement about her film Wonder Woman 1984.

According to the Israeli actress, the release date of the film was moved to August 14 due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Wonder Woman 1984's release date was originally set on June 5.

On her Instagram post, Gal wrote, "In these dark and scary times, I am looking forward to a brighter future ahead. Where we can share the power of cinema together again. Excited to redate our WW84 film to August 14, 2020."

Gal also wished everyone well during this time of COVID-19 crisis.

"I hope everyone is safe. Sending my love to you all."
