BTS and James Corden

BTS joins the list of global superstars who will perform remotely on James Corden's special.

Korean boyband BTS will be taking part in a special show by British host James Corden.

Yesterday, James released an official list of global stars that will take part in “Homefest: James Corden's Late Late Special” on March 30 at 10:00 pm (US Time).

The one-hour special show will feature James hosting from his garage and will feature musical performances by BTS in South Korea, Andrea Bocelli in Italy, Dua Lipa in London, and Billie Eilish with Finneas and John Legend in Los Angeles -- all in the comfort of their own homes.

Additionally, David Blaine and Will Ferrell are also set to perform.

In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, executive producers Ben Winston and Rob Crabbe shared that they are thinking of creative ways to provide entertainment at such a dark and haunting time.

They said, “Since The Late Late Show came off air, we have been thinking of different ways to try and make a show at this time.

“With the help of some wonderful guests, we are going to try to put on the best show we can, to entertain, raise awareness, raise money, and hopefully lift spirits.

“Shooting from James's garage may be far from perfect, but under the circumstances, we hope it can help someone, somewhere, who needs some cheer right now.”

The two producers also shared that the show will feature James and his guests encouraging viewers to follow health guidelines to slow the spread and flatten the curve of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

It will also direct viewers to donate to the CDC Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's work and Feed the Children.
