These face shields will be donated to several hospitals in Metro Manila.

In an Instagram video, the actress proudly shared her progress to her fans.

She wrote, “D.I.Y. face shields para sa ating frontliners. Nag-volunteer kami to make face shields.

“All of our materials are provided by our friends from @faceshieldsforfrontliners, we have a deadline tomorrow morning and we are more than happy to do this for them. Magtulungan po tayo.

“For now, God bless us all. Lalo na ang mga nagbubuwis ng mga buhay nila para sa kaligtasan nating lahat.”

In the same video, Judy Ann urged her followers to do the same to help those who are battling the disease.

“Mas marami tayo kaysa sa frontliners out there, pwede natin silang tulungan. Kung magkakasama natin silang tutulungan, mas marami tayong magagawa, mas marami tayong magagawang face shield, mas marami tayong frontliners na mapo-protektahan.”

Face Shields for Frontliners is a non-profit organization dedicated to donating more than 10,000 face shields to distribute to different hospitals all over the Philippines.

Other celebrities, including Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, have already expressed their support to donate face shields that will be distributed to health care workers, police personnel, and even stall owners in their local markets and barangays.

To date, the Philippines has more than a thousand confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease with 42 recoveries.
