Kapuso actress and Queen of Creative Collaborations Heart Evangelista and Sorsogon Governor Chiz Escudero donated bed foams and pillows to their kababayans who got stranded at checkpoints due to the enhanced community quarantine.

In a post on Instagram, Heart expressed her desire to give comfort to Sorsoganons.

“My husband @escuderochiz and I are sending these soon with love. More bed foams from @uratexpremium and pillows donated by our friends for our dear Sorsoganons to give them comfort after being stranded at checkpoints,” Heart wrote in the caption of her Instagram post alongside her photo standing in front of bed foams.

In an earlier post, Heart explained her decision to help and promised to do it “as long as [she] can.”

“I check my messages every morning and afternoon and I plan to do this for as long and as much as I can. I just want to be able to share the blessings that I have received to those who need it more,” she wrote.

Seeing what's happening in the world is heartbreaking and I know we all feel a little helpless because we are confined in our homes.
