Bacoor City Mayor Lani Mercado took her 52nd birthday as an opportunity to say sorry to the public for a blooper she made in a previous Facebook live.
Lani aired her sentiments in a Facebook live video through her husband Ramon "Bong' Revilla Jr.'s official page.
Senator Bong Revilla began the livestream by handing a bouquet of flowers for his wife and greeting her happy birthday and referring to her as God's "greatest gift" to him and their children.

Lani thanked her husband and shared her busy day with the viewers; "Nagtatrabaho po ako," Lani said.
"Puyat din 'yan." Senator Bong added.
She recalled her Facebook live the previous week and her mistake in calling COVID-19 as "COVID-14" and apologized for the mistake.
Lani then wished for a COVID-19 cure to be approved soon.
"And we all pray na sana, mahanap na po ang lunas ng COVID-19."
On a lighter note, she said she doesn't mind getting bashed.
"Thank you much, I love you! Trabaho pa rin po, trabaho tayo. I am okay, I am happy. I'm not mad kahit bina-bash," Lani said.

He laughingly added, "Medyo nadulas lang siya noon, medyo nagkamali."
