IU confirmed that she and Park Seo Joon will start shooting in May for their flick, “Dream."
K-drama fans, our favorite stars IU and Park Seo Joon will soon have the balls rolling for their upcoming film Dream starting next month.
The date was confirmed by IU herself during a radio guesting at Jung Eunji's Gayo Plaza on KBS Cool FM.
She said, “We will begin filming this May, so both our teams have been meeting up and going through the scripts and having meals together.
“I think the set atmosphere will be fun and I think the film itself is quite joyful, interesting, and heartwarming too!”
Furthermore, she described her upcoming character, Lee So Min, as someone who is warm and caring.
“My character is kind like Eunji [radio DJ]. I'd like to have her around, that's the kind of character I'll be playing.”
In a separate interview for W Korea, she revealed that she was a bit nervous prior to receiving the script because it will be her first commercial film.
She said, “Maybe because this is my first debut on a commercial film, I had a lot of concerns.
"Thankfully, I've received lots of good scripts and offers along the way, whether it's My Mister's Jian Ie or Hotel del Luna's Man Wol.
"The roles I've portrayed were mostly one of a kind and memorable.
“Among them would be Dream's So Min who stands out to me as a character that is very humanly without any special weapon.
"So Min is the kind of person I wish to have at least one around me. I've always wanted to portray this kind of character.”

Early this year, it was confirmed by IU's agency KakaoM, that IU would be appearing in the film alongside Park Seo Joon.
“Dream” will be the latest film by director Lee Byung Hun who directed the film Extreme Job and the JTBC drama Melo Is My Nature.
