Ben&Ben officially debuted their first international single, “Doors.”

Ben&Ben fans were in for quite a treat Thursday midnight as the 9-piece indie-folk band just released the lyric video for their first international single, “Doors.”

On their official Twitter account, Ben&Ben wrote, “'Doors' the new single out everywhere at midnight. Surprise! We're pretty excited about this one. #BenAndBenDOORS”

The official hashtag of its release quickly rose to the #2 spot of Philippine Twitter with fans raving on how they have related to the lyrics of the song.

On April 11, the ennead shared that the new single drew inspiration from the ongoing enhanced community quarantine due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

They wrote on Twitter, “We wrote another new song for you. It is the band's most favorite so far. Quite sad but hopeful. Mga feelings natin this quarantine.

“It will be our first international single.”

The following day, the band announced that they are set to perform the song live for the first time on Saturday (April 18) through YouTube at 7 pm. This will serve as it's launch party and at the same time a fundraising event for the coronavirus disease response in the Philippines.

“Doors” is mixed by Grammy Award-winning engineer Miles Walker who has worked with international acts like Beyonce, Usher, Coldplay, and Rihanna.
