Kapuso stars Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes join 'Gabi ng Himala: Mga Awit at Kwento

Filipino celebrities including Kapuso Primetime King and Queen Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera joined the online for a night union for the local film industry on Tuesday, April 21.

“Gabi ng Himala: Mga Awit at Kwento” is an online fundraising event for displaced "no work, no-pay" film workers due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Marian and Dingdong took part in the initiative by re-enacting a scene from the film Walang Himala with Dingdong supervising the directing and Marian doing a monologue.

Other Kapuso celebrities such as Aicelle Santos, Tom Rodriguez, Ryan Agoncillo, and Nora Aunor also joined the Facebook live stream for musical performances, script-reading sessions, and online discussions.

The initiative was presented by Lockdown Cinema Club, Ricky Lee Scriptwriting Workshop, and Sagip Pelikula.
