American TV show 'Pretty Little Liars' now has an Asian adaptation on video streaming service Viu.

American drama series Pretty Little Liars gets an Asian adaptation, which is currently showing on video streaming provider Viu.

Set in Bali, Indonesia, the adaptation is a 10-part series directed by Emil Heradi. All episodes are made immediately available for binge-watching on Viu.

The story follows the disappearance of a female student goes mysteriously missing.

A year later, four female friends of the girl find themselves reunited when they begin to receive messages from a mysterious figure, who threatens to expose their darkest secrets.

Seasoned Indonesian actors are part of the show. Its main cast includes Anya Geraldine, Eyka Farhana, Valerie Thomas and Shindy Huang.

The original Pretty Little Liars was created by Marlene King and ran seven seasons airing from 2010 to 2017. It featured Hollywoord actors Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, Lucy Hale, and Shay Mitchell.
