Mother's Day is a special occasion we love to celebrate with our family. And for the first time, Kapuso star Solenn Heussaff celebrated the event with her husband Nico Bolzico and first-born Thylane Katana.

In a video uploaded on Instagram, Solenn couldn't hold back her tears while watching Nico's heartfelt video message for her.

While carrying Thylane in her arms, Solenn got emotional over the surprise of the two most important persons in her life.

#Thylane prepared a video for mama's day this morning and she started crying so we were a bit confused, but at the end we think she liked! A final message from Thylane was: "Today is your special day, but to me, every day is special with you. You gave me my life, but that is nothing in comparison with the love and caring I received from you every day. Thanks for being the best mama in the world and for always taking care of #ElPadre and me. We love you so much. Happy First Mothers Day! PS: don't worry I won't entertain suitors till I am 20 years old" Happy mothers day to all the brave mamas of the Philippines! Without them, we are literally nothing. #BabyBolz #SosBolz

In an exclusive interview with 24 Oras, the actress shared that growing up, she rarely celebrated Mother's Day with her mom.

“Hindi ako masyadong ma-birthday, ma-Valentine's Day, ma-anything. Even tuwing Mother's Day even if may Mama ako, I've never really…we say it, but we never celebrate it,” she said.

Because of this, she said that she never expected to be given such recognition on this special day.

“So feeling ko nga magiging same kahit first Mother's Day ko.

“Being a mom is a massive of decision pero you're never ready for it talaga and when it happens, parang lahat magiging natural na,” she added.

Even after nurturing Thylane for four months, Solenn related that sometimes she still can't believe that she has given birth to an adorable child.

“Parang sometimes when I get my me time, for two seconds, I'm like, 'Am I mom?',” the Taste Buddies host said.
