'Sweet Night' reportedly beat 'Gangnam Style's almost unbreakable record in just two months.

BTS member V (Kim Taehyung) is feeling the love across the globe after news broke out that he has beaten PSY's old record in iTunes.

According to the report of K-entertainment site allkpop.com, V is now the most successful Korean and Asian soloist in history. He now holds the record of having the most Number 1 iTunes spots for a song.

His single 'Sweet Night' is at the top of the iTunes Top Song chart in 88 countries, beating PSY's previous record of 86.

Part of the article reads: "In 2012, PSY's 'Gangnam Style' swept the worldwide 'iTunes Top Song Chart' and ranked #1 in 86 countries. The record remained stable and unbreakable for eight long years.
