KC Concepcion on refusing telenovelas and other TV projects: "I was diagnosed with..."
Eventologist and host Tim Yap had the chance to interview actress and entrepreneur KC Concepcion on his YouTube channel Tim Yap LIVE!
Tim directly ask the daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta on the reason why she had to say no to telenovela projects offered to her in the past.
KC explained, "Actually I'm super, super grateful for work.
"But number one, I want to be super open about this because it's something I also want to talk about in the future.
"I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome) and that cause me to gain so much weight. I always wanted to be at my best. I want to be physically fit and I wanna look good, I want my body tight, you know."
She added, "When I look good, I feel good, and that's what you serve people on screen. So, it's as simple as that.
"I also wanted to change and evolve. I love evolving!"
According to webmd.com, PCOS is a hormonal condition that women can get during their childbearing years. It can also affect their ability to have a child.
Last weekend, KC also revealed that she tested negative for COVID-19.
