MONSTA X

Monbebes are definitely thrilled to see the return of MONSTA X for their promotion of the latest album 'Fantasia X.'

K-pop group MONSTA X has finally returned with their new mini-album “Fantasia X” and its title track “Fantasia.”

Since the release of the music video yesterday, May 26, Monbebes had the group trending on Twitter and the praise has continued since the group's comeback showcase in the social media platform VLive in the evening.

Radiating with power, the sextet started the showcase with the track “Flow.”

Afterwards, the group exchanged their sentiments about the comeback and mentioned how well they've been preparing for the comeback since their last mini-album “Follow.”

“We were excited as much as we were nervous. We've been waiting for this performance as much as Monbebe had been so we made sure we prepared well.

“It's been seven months since we made a comeback, and we've made seven fantastic songs to match the album's title 'Fantasia X,'” they said.

During the two-hour showcase, the group introduced each song and revealed details about the tracks. The mini-album features the songs “Flow,” “Fantasia,” “Zone,” “Chaotic,” “Beautiful Night,” “It Ain't Over,” and “Stand Up.”

They also spoke about how the title track music video came to be, including Kihyun praising leader Shownu for oozing sexiness in one of the scenes.

Kihyun said, “He was wearing a white shirt and he was sitting like this in the scene.

“I watched the whole filming from start to finish and when Shownu hyung was filming, I immediately thought, 'Wow! So that is what adult sexy is.' I realized then that I'm not as sexy as he is.

“To be honest, I really wanted more of that scene to be shown in the music video. But if you watch that part carefully, you'll be able to feel Shownu's sexiness.”

Furthermore, MONSTA X heated the scene by showing off their choreography for the track, including Kihyun's solo performance that the members thought deserved a spotlight of its own.

Before concluding their showcase stage, the boys thanked their fans by saying, “This whole album shows the most beautiful and brilliant moments of life and we'll try to make sure that both the future and this activity will just be as beautiful.

“We hope Monbebe gets energy from listening to this album and we'll be satisfied with that.”

As of this writing, MONSTA X's latest single “Fantasia” has already amassed more than 3 million views in less than 24 hours.

They are continuing their virtual promotion by appearing in different comeback stages like MNet, and appearing in other YouTube channels like M2, Studio Choom, and 1theK.
