
Lay Zhang of K-pop band EXO is releasing his new single "Boom" today, July 9. SM Entertainment describes it as a Latin dance track with an EDM mix and a summery vibe.
"Boom" is part of the Chinese singer's album Lit Part 2. He released Lit Part 1 in June.

Lay also took to Twitter to share his new song to his fans. He wrote, "My new single 'Boom' is out! I just want everyone to be happy and vibe out when they hear it! I hope to see your dance moves^^"

Some of Lay's tracks from the Lit albums are part of a collaboration with Grammy Award-winning producer and songwriter Scott Storch, who has worked with Beyoncé, DJ Khaled, 50 Cent, and Snoop Dogg.
Lit Part.1 is making waves internationally as it became a Platinum Epic Album for QQ Music, a major music site in China, and has reached up to 40 million yuan (6.8 billion won) in sales according to Korean JoongAng Daily.

The album also ranked No. 1 in 21 regions worldwide on the iTunes top album charts. The release of Lit Part 2 has not yet been announced.
