The Clash Season 1 alumnus Anthony Rosaldo graced the July 10 episode of Unang Hirit where he sang his new single “Pwedeng Tayo.”

Released under GMA Music on Thursday, July 9, the song tells the story of two individuals who found love at the wrong time.

“Ang title ng song is 'Pwedeng Tayo.' Actually we wanted to record it before the pandemic. Surprise, ito tayo, new normal,” Anthony said.

He recorded the song in his own home during the quarantine. The other people involved in the recording such as the musical arranger, the backup vocalists, and the guitarists, had to do their parts in their respective homes. Even the vocal processing was done separately.

The Kapuso singer also shared that it was the very first time he performed “Pwedeng Tayo” on national television.

“Worldwide na-release na sa lahat ng digital stores at alam mo today, unang-unang makakarinig sa 'UH' ang mga Kapuso,” he added.

The song was written by Vehnee Saturno, Davey Langit, Jonathan Manalo, and Edwin Marollano during the first-ever FILSCAP Master Camp.

“Pwedeng Tayo” is available for downloading and streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, and other digital stores worldwide.
