
Days after it was reported that Kim Idol was in a critical condition and in life support, it was revealed that the comedian has passed away today, July 13.
The sad news was confirmed by Kim's colleague and friend, Allan K.
He said in a post, “You were one of the best talents Klownz and Zirkoh have ever had. One of the funniest on and off stage.
“You will always be remembered by people whose lives you touched through comedy.
“Rest in peace, Kim Idol. We will miss you.”
Kim's other friend, Michael Conjusta, also confirmed the comedian's passing by posting a series of photos with Kim and said, “Akala ko ba gusto mo pang bumalik dito? I feel sad
“Rest in peace my friend, Michael 'Kim Idol' Argente.
“We know you are in a better place and one day we shall meet again.
“Condolence to Melissa Argente and family.”
In 2015, Kim Idol revealed that he has brain arteriovenous malformation (AVM), a rare medical condition characterized by a tangle of abnormal blood vessels connecting arteries and veins in the brain disrupting oxygen flow.
The stand-up comedian was found unconscious four days ago in his room in the Philippine Arena and was immediately sent to the Manila Central University Hospital in Caloocan City for treatment.
Prior to his passing, he was working as a quarantine officer and a frontliner for the Bureau of Quarantine.
