Kapuso news anchor Arnold Clavio is one of the viewers who raves about Paolo Contis and Alessandra de Rossi's Through Night & Day
In fact, he considers the film as one of the best tear-jerker films he has watched his entire life.
He equates the movie's caliber with critically and internationally acclaimed films The Notebook, which was top-billed by American stars Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams; South Korean film A Moment to Remember of Son Ye-jin and Jung Woo-sung; and Filipino movies Magnifico starring Jiro Manio; and In the Name of Love of Angel Locsin and Aga Muhlach.
“May limang pelikula akong natatandaan na 'di ko napigilan na umiyak.
"Bigla na lang pumapatak ang luha ko. Minsan patago pa ako na humahagulgol.
"Pero itong huli, ang Through Night & Day nina Paolo Contis at Alessandra de Rossi…Kaninang alas dose ng madaling araw.
"Hay! Ang galing ninyong dalawa. Dahil nakarating ako sa Iceland, ramdam ko si Ben at Jen. Congratulations sa inyong dalawa.
"Sa mga hindi pa nakakapanood, trending sila sa Netflix. Ang hindi umiyak bibigyan ko ng GMA Affordabox," he said.
Through Night And Day follows the story of two lovers' vacation to Iceland, where their relationship was put to the test as they discover each other's faults and quirks and realized just how different they really are from each other.
Produced by Viva Vilms and directed by Veronica Velasco, Through Night and Day first hit Philippine cinemas in 2018 and on Netflix on July 9.
Since then, the movie consistently stayed on Netflix Philippines's top 10 trending streams.
On Twitter, fans raved about the romantic film saying how the film made them feel a roller coaster of emotions up to its conclusion.

In life, you're too lucky if you ended up with your greatest love. But most of the time, our greatest love tend to be our greatest lesson.#ThroughtNightandDay pic.twitter.com/TSj5y4caPA

I used to think that the most painful word was "loved", not until I realized that:

There's an "almost" in every sucess, people, place, and time that will haunt us and leave us dying for not fully having it. AND THAT SHIT SUCKS.

If u only watch a tearjerker romantic movie cos there's a chemistry between the lead cast, #ThroughtNightandDay will not give it to u. What it will give u are wholesome scenes, a promising beginning, a well-thought storyline, an unpredictable twist and a realistic conflict.
