Gladys Reyes recalls her 'sampal scene' with Maricel Soriano in the movie 'Minsan Lang Magmamahal.'
Actress and entrepreneur Gladys Reyes looked back on working with Diamond Star Maricel Soriano back when she was a young actress.
The two starred as sisters in the 1997 movie Minsan Lang Magmamahal directed by Jose Javier Reyes.
Gladys shared photo of them hugging in one of the scenes in the movie.
She also recalled another scene where Maricel had to slap her.
"With Inay Marya in the movie, Minsan Lang Magmamahal directed by @direkjoey. I remember shooting this movie, that "sampal scene" with her, first time nayanig ang pagkatao ko sa lakas ng sampal nya, after that she hugged me so tight and even gave me pointers on acting," wrote on her Instagram.
Gladys says that Maricel's acting was one of her inspirations.
"Sa kanya ko siguro nakuha yung intense delivery of lines when needed in a confrontation and pag sampal, wag mong dayain sampal talaga! Very professional! Tsaka na kayo magsorry-han after the scene," she wrote.
She also wishes to be able to work with Maricel again.
"Miss u Inay! I still hope to work with you again," Gladys ends.
While in quarantine, Gladys continues to hold online acting classes.
She has also been busy keeping her kids active and helping them with their online classes.
