Jennylyn Mercado is the leading lady of Marian Rivera's husband, Dingdong Dantes, in the local adaptation of K-drama series, Descendants of the Sun.
Jennylyn Mercado took to Facebook to greet her good friend and fellow Kapuso actress Marian Rivera as the Primetime Queen turned a year older today, August 12.
Jennylyn posted photos of them taken from their previous TV guestings to commemorate Marian's birthday.
The Ultimate Star simply wrote in the caption, "Happy Birthday Marian! [heart emoji]"
Marian and Jennylyn have eminently worked together for a run/walk event of a multi-level marketing company, Avon, to raise awareness about breast cancer.

Since then, the two became friends and are very supportive of each other's career.
In fact, Jennylyn is the leading lady of Marian's husband, Dingdong Dantes, in the local adaptation of K-drama series, Descendants of the Sun, which she approves of.
"Bagay naman si Jen dun, e, at saka ang dami nang nagawa ni Jen na mga kori-Korean," Marian said in an interview with entertainment reporters during an endorsement event last October.
