BTS is the first all-South Korean act to top Billboard's Hot 100 list.

BTS and ARMYs have a lot to celebrate this September 1st because the K-pop boy group landed their first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart with “Dynamite.”

The septet ruled the Hot 100 list with their first all-English language single after previously reaching the No. 4 spot with “ON” last March.

On Tuesday, September 1, Big Hit Entertainment announced the news via Twitter after quote-tweeting the American record charts.

It said, “Congrats @bts_bighit @bts_twt on 'Dynamite!'. Thank you, #ARMY.

“BTS is the first Korean Pop Artist in HISTORY to debut #1 on @billboard HOT 100.

"'Dynamite' is the most-viewed music video in the first 24 hours with 101.1M views and the biggest Spotify global debut of 2020.”

The announcement came a day after BTS gave an outstanding performance at the MTV Video Music Awards and took home the accolades for Best Pop Music Video, Best Choreography, Best Group, and Best K-pop Group.

Jungkook's birthday present

Apart from their back-to-back win, BTS member Jungkook will be celebrating his 23rd birthday on September 1.

On their social media platforms, each member mentioned that they will bear the great news to their youngest member as a way to celebrate his natal day.

On WeVerse, BTS's leader RM said “Jungkook, congrats on the best birthday present! Now, I'm going to bed. ARMY, I love you.”

Jin said, “#1 on Billboard: Dynamite - BTS with ARMY. I'm excited. Hehe. Jungkookie is getting an amazing present.”

Meanwhile, V wrote, “Is this… real?”

BTS member J-Hope attached a series of photos with Jungkook and said, “I love you, brother!

"We're #1 on the Billboard chart. Members, I'm happy to have you.

“And ARMY!!! You know that ARMY is the one who's most grateful to have you and loves you, right? ARMY should be congratulated too!”

Lastly, Jimin said, “I just spoke to Suga hyung. I'm grateful and thank you. I'm sorry but I kept on crying. I can't sleep

“It has been achieved and you will be congratulated. I hope you feel good now as much as I am. Thank you, thank you. #JIMIN”
