Mikael Daez on acting; "It just becomes more fulfilling because after what, 10 years? I'm still learning. I'm still learning how to be more effective." Read more:

In the latest episode of Mikael Daez and Megan Young's podcast, '#BehindRelationshipGoals,' the celebrity couple talked about the highlights and lowlights of their acting careers.

When talking about their favorite drama projects they've done so far, Mikael listed his shows The Stepdaughters and Love Of My Life as some of the most fulfilling work he's ever done.

Thanks to these two shows, Mikael was able to see the improvements he's made over the years and to really apply these learnings to the characters he portrayed.

According to Mikael, "I guess these last two kasi, I always try to make it a point to prepare well. And now I think I'm getting better at translating and executing that for the camera during an actual take.

"It just becomes more fulfilling because after what, 10 years? I'm still learning. I'm still learning how to be more effective. I think as the years go by, I'm more sensitive to 'Oh, I'm a bit better now than I was before.' I was able to do this scene which I realized two years ago, I would not have been able to do this.

"The last two teleseryes would definitely be something I could be proud of on a personal level."

Mikael portrays the role of Nikolai, the prodigal son, in Love Of My Life alongside stellar actors Carla Abellana, Coney Reyes, and Rhian Ramos. However, due to the quarantine, the show has been put on indefinite hiatus.

As for Megan, she cited her horror-drama series Hanggang Sa Dulo Ng Buhay Ko as the one series where she learned so much from. Because of the horror elements of the show, Megan learned how to be patient on set due to the multiple takes and different angles their team had to shoot.
