Marian Rivera

Actor and director Dingdong Dantes has a creative way of showcasing Marian Rivera's simple birthday celebration at home.

This quarantine, it seems that we'll be seeing more of Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera's video collaborations shot at home.

In an Instagram post on Tuesday, September 15, the Kapuso Primetime King posted the second episode of mini-series, Jose En Maria, which features their simple life as husband and wife. This is in partnership with a spaghetti sauce brand.

The said episode, directed by Dingdong himself, is inspired by Marian's simple 36th birthday celebration last August 12.

So this is pretty much how we celebrated her birthday last August 12. Basta may spaghetti, ang birthday ay laging happy. 😉 #KwentongUFC

As far as artistic freedom is concerned, the Kapuso couple has placed a clever plot twist in the story, thanks to the creative minds of Dingdong's sister, Vicki, and sister-in-law, Mika Dantes.

In the new episode, Marian spoils Dingdong's surprise for her after she accidentally drops the tray of spaghetti that he made. To hide the mess, she solved the problem by cooking her own recipe of spaghetti without her husband's knowledge.

The first episode of Jose En Maria features DongYan's chill 'Fri-date night' at home after a busy day, while binge-watching Crash Landing On You and eating luncheon meat fries.

The mini-series is produced under Dingdong's indie film studio, AgostoDos Pictures.
