Nar Cabico sang songs from 'ZsaZsa Zaturnnah: Ze Muzikal' for Tanghalang Pilipino's online concert series 'Handa, Awit.'

Musician and performer Nar Cabico has been tapped to perform for the third installment of 'Handa, Awit,' the online concert series of Tanghalang Pilipino.

Shot remotely by Nar in his home in Texas, the short musical film is called "Ikaw ang Nakakasilaw na Ilaw at Superhero ng Buhay Mo."

It is directed by award-winning filmmaker Carlos Siguon-Reyna.

Nar arranged and performed the songs "Nakikita Ko na ang Nakakasilaw na Liwanag" and "Ikaw ang Superhero ng Buhay Ko" from the hit stage musical ZsaZsa Zaturnnah: Ze Muzikal where he previously played the role of Didi, ZsaZsa's assistant.

The video features Nar singing in a dark room, split footage from the recent Pride March as well as images of prominent personalities from the LGBTQ+ community.

ZsaZsa Zaturnnah: Ze Muzikal is adapted from the graphic novel Ang Kagila-gilalas na Pakikipagsapalaran ni Zsazsa Zaturnnah written and illustrated by Carlo Vergara.

It tells the story of Ada, a gay beauty salon owner who transforms into superhero ZsaZsa Zaturnnah to protect his town from aliens, zombies and other entities.
