Cassy Legaspi

Cassy Legaspi is now a YouTuber and she's answering all of the burning questions that fans have for her.

Sarap, 'Di Ba? host Cassy Legaspi is officially a YouTuber!

For her first vlog, the youngest of the Legaspi twins answered some fan questions including how she's preparing for her first role in the Kapuso network and being confident about her figure.

“I was supposed to have my first teleserye this year which is 'First Yaya' but I think that was put on hold for now. I had to prepare and I want to come prepared,” she revealed.

“Physically, I just work out and eat healthier because when artistas have taping nagpupuyat sila.

"So they need to keep their immune system healthy to have the energy to do different kinds of scenes.

"From what I've seen from my parents, their first scene in the morning can be very happy, and then in the next scene, they could be crying. There are highs and lows every day.

“Emotionally, I did acting workshops that helped a lot. I also practiced at home.”

If there's one thing Cassy wants to focus on, it's her fluency in the Filipino language, given that most scenes in teleseryes would be written in Tagalog.

She said, “For others, I practiced my parents' scripts and practiced my Tagalog because I'm not fluent in Filipino but I'm getting there.

“The challenge for me is the language.

“ Everything else, I know I can do it. If I just believe in myself and continue to practice I know I can accomplish it.”

Cassy also shared how she came into terms with her body given that she's not stick-thin like most celebrities.

“In terms of body positivity, it took me a long time to get to where I am today,” she said.

“A lot of people think of aesthetics when it comes to body positivity. But I just changed my mindset and I think you should too. Think, 'Am I healthy?' If you're fine, that's good.

“Body positivity is all about celebrating what your body can do for you. You might say, 'wala akong abs' or 'ang laki ng legs ko' but your legs help you walk, and your abs help you pick stuff up and get out of bed.

“You just have to learn to be thankful for the body that you have and for the body that God blessed you with.”
