Skrrt! Mimiyuuuh joins the roster of OPM talents under O/C Records!
Mimiyuuuh is now a legit OPM artist as Kean Cipriano and Chynna Ortaleza take him under their wing as an O/C Records artist.
Mimiyuuuh is the newest addition to the talented roster of singers and musicians managed by Kean and Chynna. This exciting development was announced on Friday, September 25.
O/C Records welcomed the viral internet star, saying, “Skrrt! Skrrt! Here's the big reveal! An all-round entertainer and performer, she definitely knows where to hit the people's fancies, making her an instant hit to a diverse audience. Her antics deliver not only giggles but touches people's hearts. Welcome to O/C @mimiyuuuh.”
Kean, who acts as the record label's CEO, shared a more personal note about Mimiyuuuh.
He related his early experience working with him, saying, “Skrrt! Skrrt! Your gurl @mimiyuuuh is the newest Odd Creature!
“I'm producing her upcoming track with my co-producer @emiljdelarosa. Naaalala ko nung sinabi nya sa akin na gusto niya mag release ng music pero nahihiya siya. Sobrang nirerespeto daw nya ang Pinoy music. Sabi ko we will make sure na yung ilalabas niyang track ay legit. At yung magiging proud siya. At yun nga ang lumabas.”
He further commended Mimiyuuuh's hidden artistry and wrote, “Sobrang nabilib ako sa songwriting style niya at nagulat ako kung gaano siya ka hands on at tutok sa detalye habang nirerecord namin yung song.
“Mimiyuuuh definitely knows what she's doing! Alam niyang kung anong gusto niyang tunog at direksyon. Nakakatuwa makipag-collaborate sa artist na may pakialam sa craft niya. We recorded the track na purely online. At excited na ako marinig n'yong lahat. Welcome to @ocrecordsph @mimiyuuuh.”
Meanwhile, the internet sensation-turned-singer-songwriter only had words of gratitude for the opportunity given to him.
“(A)bout to SKRT on y'all!! Thank you po @ocrecordsph for welcoming me to your fam and turning my visions into reality. HUWAW!! HAHHAHAHAHAHAHHA!! 10.01.20,” Mimiyuuuh wrote, ending his post on Instagram with a hint on the release date of his music.
