The K-pop idol also shared that the cover will be uploaded in her official YouTube channel, Dara TV.

“Ano kaya bagay sakin na Tagalog song? If gagawa ako ng song cover sa Dara TV? Suggestion please,” she wrote on Instagram.

Her followers were quick to answer and suggested some hit Filipino songs to her.

Meanwhile, the former 2NE1 member recently trended on Philippine Twitter after she spoke Tagalog in a Korean show.

"Ano po sinasabi niyo? Hindi ko kayo maintindihan, galing po ako sa Pilipinas," Sandara told a Korean celebrity during the show.

Sandara moved to the Philippines when she was young and spent her teenage years in the country.

She rose to fame as an actress after winning runner-up in a talent search show in 2004.

In 2007, she returned to Korea to pursue her dream of becoming a K-pop idol. She eventually debuted as one of the members of the widely known K-pop group called 2NE1.
