New love team alert!

Mikee Quintos and Kelvin Miranda are set to star in GMA Public Affair's upcoming romantic comedy series titled The Lost Recipe.

According to the 24 Oras report, director Monti Parungao said that “The Lost Recipe” isn't just an ordinary romcom series as it is about the love story of two great cooks as well.

This is the first team up of Mikee and Kelvin and they were both ecstatic to have been chosen as the lead cast in the project.

“'Yun talaga pinagdadasal ko ever since. I'm happy na it's with Kelvin din. I'm excited to work with him and the whole team. First time ko makaka-work 'yung team na 'to,” Mikee said.

Kelvin then shared that he really worked hard to get this role.

“Nagbasa talaga ako. Nagbasa ako ng script at nakailang kape na ako dahil sobrang preparation ko. Wala akong alam na talagang napili na.

“Ngayon nakakatuwa na nakakanginig sa sobrang saya,” he shared.

Now that Kelvin gears up for an exciting and challenging role, he said, “Kailangan palamanan ng panonood ng mga ganitong klaseng projects, so sisimulan ko na manood ng mga K-drama para malaman ko kung paano 'yung paraan kung paano nila ginagawa 'yung mga eksena.”
