Avengers star Mark Ruffalo is appealing to his millions of followers to prepare their donations and pray for the Philippines as Typhoon Rolly hurls its heavy wind and rain towards the archipelago on Sunday, November 1.
“Pray for our brothers and sisters in the Philippines then get ready to send donations,” the actor wrote after quote-retweeting meteorologist Greg Diamond.

Many netizens, mostly Filipinos, thanked Mark for airing his concern.
Some even suggested that the actor sends his donation to non-profit and non-government organizations throughout the Philippines.
“Thanks, Mark! Strong winds and rains now in the Philippines. We do need prayers and help for those greatly affected. And here's my Avenger-loving son smashing the typhoon,” one fan wrote.
Another said, “We survived Yolanda in 2013. The resilience of the Filipino people and their belief in God. Thanks for all your prayers to our beloved country.”

We survived Yolanda in 2013. The resilience of the Filipino people and their belief in God. Thanks for all your prayers to our beloved country.

Again, even your prayers and everyone who included our country in their prayers is already a big help. And if you plan to donate for the victims, thank you as well. I hope whatever anyone decides to give will be put into good use if given to the right people who aims to do that.
