Real-life superhero! 'Avengers' star Mark Ruffalo calls for his followers to prepare their donations for the victims of Typhoon Rolly in the Philippines.

Avengers star Mark Ruffalo is appealing to his millions of followers to prepare their donations and pray for the Philippines as Typhoon Rolly hurls its heavy wind and rain towards the archipelago on Sunday, November 1.

“Pray for our brothers and sisters in the Philippines then get ready to send donations,” the actor wrote after quote-retweeting meteorologist Greg Diamond.

Many netizens, mostly Filipinos, thanked Mark for airing his concern.

Some even suggested that the actor sends his donation to non-profit and non-government organizations throughout the Philippines.

“Thanks, Mark! Strong winds and rains now in the Philippines. We do need prayers and help for those greatly affected. And here's my Avenger-loving son smashing the typhoon,” one fan wrote.

Another said, “We survived Yolanda in 2013. The resilience of the Filipino people and their belief in God. Thanks for all your prayers to our beloved country.”

As of this writing, PAG-ASA reported that Typhoon Rolly, international name Goni, has weakened over the West Philippine Sea.
