
Days after earning her title as “sergeant” of the Philippine Air Force Reserve Command, actress Coleen Perez reflects on her new achievement further on social media.
“It takes not just skill and bravery but willingness to learn and train so one can be strong and capable of fighting and serving,” she wrote on Instagram.
“Take away your ego and your emotions. Move as one unit. Put your heart and set your mind never to back down.”
Coleen continued, “Don't expect things to be easy because to be able to be strong, one needs to go through challenges and obstacles.
“Walang madali pero puso lang.”
Along with the caption is a set of photos that showed Coleen in training with her batchmates.
In a previous post, Coleen also posted a photo of their field training exercise, which became a test of their “unity and camaraderie.”
She said, “We're looking out for each other. Being the strength of one's weakness. Oneness.”
The Third is My First actress earned her title on November 8, 2020, at the Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command in Clark, Pampanga.
During their graduation ceremony, Coleen was also given the Leadership Award after bearing the title of flight leader and president of her batch.
