"The childhood home is literally submerged underwater," Filipino-American content creator Bretman Rock wrote.

YouTube star Bretman Rock sent prayers for the victims of the devastating typhoons that hit his childhood hometown Cagayan.

Areas in the provinces of Cagayan and Isabela were damaged by the storm surge caused by Typhoon Ulysses, which left the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Friday morning.

The Filipino-American makeup guru shared his mindfulness on Twitter, "Praying for my Home Town in the Philippines, we were struck with 4 typhoons and the childhood home is literally submerged underwater.... I know there are so many things happening in the world right now but I just thought I would bring some awareness to this #prayforcagayan"

His followers reacted to his tweet, showing the situation in the Philippines after Typhoon Rolly and Ulysses hit.

Bretman Rock grew up in the town of Sanchez-Mira, Cagayan. He moved to Hawaii, USA when he was seven years old. His makeup contouring videos started going viral in 2016 and he currently has over seven million subscribers on YouTube.

In November 2019, Bretman visited the Philippines for his father's wake in Cagayan.
