Good luck Kobe Paras and the whole Gilas Pilipinas squad!
Celebrity mom Jackie Forster is praying for the success of the whole Gilas Pilipinas team because squad will compete in the FIBA Asia Cup 2021 qualifiers, which will be held in Bahrain starting on November 27.
Jackie's son, Kobe Paras is part of the national men's basketball team.
He is joined by Rey Suerte, Isaac Go, Matt and Mike Nieto, Calvin Oftana, Kenmark Cariño, Dave Ildefonso, Dwight Ramos, Wil Navarro, Jayde Tungcab, Juan and Javi Gomez de Liaño, and Justin Baltazar.
On Instagram, Jackie revealed that the Gilas Pilipinas team is practicing three times a day to prepare for the big competition.
She shared, “My big baby @_kokoparas has been in the bubble recently practicing 3x a day!?
“Please help me pray for a safe flight and an awesome few days of tournament for the whole team. For the love of 🇵🇭 x #gilaspilipinas 🇵🇭 #proudmama.”
After reading his mom's Instagram post, Kobe replied that he really wants to get that win for her.
“Hopefully we get that birthday W for you and everyone back home, ma!
“Love you loads, island mama.”
In a recent announcement, Jong Uichico was named as the new head coach of Gilas Pilipinas.
