Anne Curtis and Dua Lipa

Anne Curtis fangirls as she interviews Dua Lipa for the latter's upcoming virtual concert.

Actress Anne Curtis couldn't maintain her composure as she interviews British singer Dua Lipa held via a virtual press conference.

On Instagram, the Australian-Filipina host shared snippets of her interview with the “Don't Start Now” singer and said that she couldn't believe she got the chance to speak with the latter.

“I'm levitating!” she writes in the caption.

“I can't believe this happened. I was given the chance to speak to @dualipa about her album 'Future Nostalgia' and her upcoming virtual concert 'Studio 2054.'

“I was so nervous…as you all probably know, I'm a huge fan. Ahhh! She was so kind and sweet.”

Anne continued, “Oh and it took everything in me to not sing 'Pretty Please' when she mentioned it.”

During the interview, Dua Lipa shared about her experience releasing an album amid a global pandemic.

She told Anne, “Well it was interesting because I never thought about putting out an album at a time like this.

“I think putting it out at this time made me learn so much about patience and made me adapt to my surroundings. It was a massive, massive learning curve, but one that I'm really grateful for and I wouldn't change it for the world.”

The 25-year-old singer also spoke about her inspiration behind the title “Future Nostalgia” and what Dua Lipa fans would expect in her upcoming virtual concert, “Studio 2054.”

“'Future Nostalgia' was kind of like, an amalgamation of two things, obviously,” Dua explained.

“The nostalgia part is where my childhood comes from like what kind of music my parents were listening to when I was at home. And then the future part is my current life, where I currently am in my music, and the direction where I want to go.

“So I was kind of trying to marry the two together in terms of something that is kind of reminiscent and very new sound in terms of production.”

She added, “The reason why I wanted to put out the live stream virtual concert is that I'm dying to get out in front of an audience and do a live show and perform these songs.

“But to be able to put this show for you guys at home, I'm kind of excited and I'm working hard to make sure I don't disappoint you and give you the best show ever.”

Dua Lipa's “Studio 2054” will happen this coming November 27. Ticket prices are still available on dualipa.com.
