Alisah Bonaobra turns to digital platforms to entertain fans during quarantine.

Alisah Bonaobra admitted that she's one of the many people who have been greatly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a singer, the former contestant of The X Factor UK lost some job opportunities due to restrictions on live performances.

So, during this quarantine, Alisah thought she should've worked harder and saved more for times like this.

"Siguro kapag maraming bookings, mag-ipon.

"Siguro 'yun ang pinaka-realization ko po sa career ko bilang singer, na you need to enjoy life and at the same time magtira ka rin para sa rainy days," she told GMANetwork.com in a virtual conference held recently.

Alisah is thankful that her supporters remained during this period.

I'm very thankful na kahit nag-pandemic, never po nila ako iniwan," she said.

Since there's lack of gigs, Alisah learned to adapt and turned to digital platforms to continue giving entertainment to her fans.

Meanwhile, Alisah is equally grateful for the opportunity to give voice to the song "Faithful," which was written by OPM icon Cecile Azarcon.

She wrote Filipino classics such as Martin Nievera's “Ikaw Ang Lahat Sa Akin,” Kuh Ledesma's “I Think I'm In Love,” Chiqui Pineda's “How Did You Know,” and Basil Valdez's "Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga."

Alisah said, "I'm very happy.

In a statement, Cecile said she wrote the song in only about 30 minutes as the words "came out like a personal prayer to God."

She added, "The music and the lyrics just flowed together and fell into place as I reflected on the many times that I have experienced God's faithfulness in my life. Even in those times when I have not been faithful to Him, He remained faithful to me.”

Alisah shared the same feeling when she first heard the song.
