Disney Plus has officially unveiled the very first trailer of its new original series, Loki, centering on, you guessed it, everyone's favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe villain.

The original series will debut in May 2021, as announced during Disney Investor Day that happened earlier today, December 11.

British actor Tom Hiddleston will be reprising his role as Loki, who was last seen escaping with one of the Infinity Stones in the film Avengers: Endgame. In the series, Loki will be jumping at different times in history and influencing major events.

Other actors joining Tom will be Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, and British actor Richard E. Grant.

Besides Loki, other Disney Plus original series centering on the MCU characters were also announced, including Ms. Marvel, Hawkeye, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, She-Hulk, Moon Knight, and Wanda Vision.
