Veteran showbiz writer Lolit Solis commends Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards not for his many accolades in life, but for his treatment of his employees.
On Instagram, the 73-year-old said that she notices how Alden always treats his staff with kindness.
She said, “Talagang mabait si Alden Richards, Salve. Kita mo concern niya sa mga kasama niya sa trabaho, mahal niya si Mama Tenten at Sam [Alden's handler]--iyong mga kasama niya mula pa nang mag-umpisa ang career niya.
“Mahal niya staff niya sa mga resto na pag-aari niya, lahat ng katranaho niya -- may puso siya para sa mga ito.”
Lolit continued, “Nakakatuwa pag ganuon ang isang celebrity, iyong pagtingin niya at pagmamahal sa mga taong kasama niya. Kaya nga malapit ang grasya sa kanila kasi nagshare sila at hindi madamot sa pagmamahal sa mga kasama nila.
“Well, now masasabi nila Mama Tenten at Sam na hindi nasayang ang pagmamahal nila dahil may kapantay na pagmamahal iyong lanve na ibinibigay nila.”
“Love begets love at iyon ang nangyayari sa circle ni Alden Richards,” she concluded.
Alden Richards and his personal assistant Mama Ten, Tenten Mendoza in real life, recently went viral after appearing in Eat Bulaga's “Bawal Judgmental” last Saturday, December 12.
In the segment, Mama Ten became one of the choices revealed to have contracted the coronavirus disease.
Alden's personal assistant couldn't help but feel emotional during his bit because he felt that he was the reason the Kapuso actor lost quite a few projects after he tested positive for COVID.
He said, “Noong solo po ako na nandoon po ako sa bahay, umiyak po ako noon kasi inisip ko po kasi si Alden.
“Dahil sa akin, ang daming nawalan ng work, na-pack up 'yung taping namin. Tapos si Alden, siyempre ambassador pa siya ng DOH, so nasa kanya lahat ng pressure.
Despite this Alden reassured him that the only thing that matters is Mama Ten's well-being and quick recovery from the respiratory disease.
“Honesty, noong nag-positive si Mama Ten, medyo ang dami rin pumasok sa isip ko,” the actor confessed.
“First-time namin na may nag-positive na kasama namin at first-time namin na nagkaroon ng exposure.
“Doon sa nawalang mga trabaho, hindi mo na kasi iisipin 'yun, e. Ang iisipin mo na lang is 'yung kalagayan noong tao. Ilang years ko nang kasama 'yan -- 12 years kaming magkasama.
“Hindi ko na inisip kung ano 'yung mawawalang trabaho kasi ang main priority ko na lang that time is maging okay siya.”
